Meteor shower Viewing Session
Arts & Entertainment
Jul 22, 2010
The Perseid meteor shower is coming up and Hamilton Amateur Astronomers are inviting everyone out to a public night to view them.
The group will be at the Binbrook Conservation Area (entrance off Harrison Road) on Aug. 11 from 8-10 p. m. to help educate the public on the event, weather and clouds permitting. They advise anyone attending to bring a blanket or lounge chair because lying down is the best way to see the meteor shower.
No rain date will be scheduled. For more information see amateurastronomy.org or call 905-627-4323.
