Wildcats win
Members of the Westmount Wildcats celebrate their HWIAC Division 2 hockey championship March 4 at Dave Andreychuck-Mountain Arena. The ‘Cats stormed out to a 5-0 lead over the Sir Wintston Churchill Bulldogs in the first period and eased back on their way to a 5-1 win. Patrick Murphy and James Murphy had two goals apiece while Henry Fothergill added one.

Braves roll over St. Mary’s in boys hockey final
St. Mary’s forward Jay Swiderski beats Brebeuf goalie John McNamara on a first period penalty shot in the Hamilton Catholic high school boys hockey final. It was St. Mary’s only goal of the game as the Braves captured the championship with a 5-1 win.
