After this trip the group was able to pass on the information to their younger friends at the Polish Language Classes under HWCDSB. “We believe that education and implementation are keys points to saving our planet Earth. Through understanding and knowledge about the toxins sleeping in our garbage that we put by the curb each week, about effects of dirty landfills, waste disposal, recycling, composting, and energy saving, we can start cleaning up our environment starting from our homes, schools, communities” said the proud head teacher of the Elementary International (Polish) Language Classes, Ms. Jagoda Kurowska.
