Re: Charity golf tournament
Although the weather was not ideal for our fourth annual Mission Services - Hamilton Community Newspaper Charity Golf Tournament the event was a huge success.
A special thank you is in order to John Cormier of Hidden Lake Burlington who always extends a warm welcome to our guests and ensures the event will be a financial success.
To our sponsors and particularly our golfers, a heartfelt thank you for believing in our cause and helping us to cross the $100,000 mark in year four of our community partnership.
Proceeds from this year tournament totaled $36,000. This show of generosity will ensure many inner city children experience the joy of summer camp in the next few months.
From everyone that we have the privilege to serve, thank you Hamilton Community News for taking our needs and service outcomes to the public. I know that in working together we are making a difference in the lives of so many in need.
