
Book of Negroes author at library

Lawrence Hill, author of "The Book of Negroes," will be at Sherwood Library on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
Joining Hill will be author John Cooper, whose book "Rapid Ray" highlights the life of Hamilton 's Ray Lewis, who won a bronze medal in the 4x400m event at the1932 Olympic games.
The authors are featured as part of the library's One City, Many Stories program.
Sherwood Library is located at 467 Upper Ottawa St. The program begins at 2 p. m. and tose interested in attending are asked to RSVP at 905-546-3280.
