
Brebeuf to battle Newman in Catholic football final

The St. Jean de Brebeuf Braves will face the Cardinal Newman Cardinals in the Hamilton Catholic high school senior football championship at McMaster University this Monday.
Game time is 2:30 p.m.
Brebeuf advanced to the final with a 17-7 semi-final win over Bishop Ryan at McMaster University on Wednesday.
Newman beat Cathedral 29-7 in the other semi-final.
During the regular season, first-place Newman beat second-place Brebeuf 31-14.
