
Mountaineers head to rugby final

It will be the Mohawk Mountaineers and the Humber Hawks in the OCAA rugby championship game next Saturday.
The Mountaineers whipped the Seneca Sting 42-17 in their semi-final at Mohawk Sports Park today.
The Hawks advanced with a 20-7 decision over Trent Excalibur in Peterborough.
The Mountaineers and Hawks split two narrow regular season games. Humber won 12-10 at home and Mohawk triumphed 12-7 in their return match to edge their arch rivals for first place.
Championship day is noon Nov. 14 at Fletcher's Fields in Markham. The bronze medal game will be at 10:30 am and will pit Trent and Seneca.
