Vandals lacking Christmas spirit
Letters
Nov 20, 2009
While out walking along Concession Street last week, I noticed city workers planting the little Christmas trees with beautiful bows on them. They also put out hanging Christmas plants which are very pretty.
Upon going for my walk the next morning, I noticed some of the trees and planters had been ripped out and thrown on the sidewalks. The benches on the brow were also tipped over.
Haven't the kids of today anything better to do?
I am a senior but I raised two children. I taught these children to have respect for other people's property.
Do the parents of these children know where they are and what they are doing?
They seem to like damaging cars and other property.
Thank goodness, there are also good and decent teens out there, who do a lot of good things.
