Re: Letter in response to 'Column on Terrorism was bang on as usual'

Colwyn Beynon's letter should have been titled, 'Retired Officer Wants to Intern Government Critics'. After all, Mr. Beynon didn't oppose Mr. Black's arguments with his own, or offer an intelligent view supporting Canada's alleged war on terror. Instead, he chose to condemn Mr. Black for his "questionable allegiance," even suggesting that Mr. Black should forfeit his citizenship.

Mr. Black's crime, of course, is that he never swallowed NATO's propaganda. And it's probably the case that Mr. Black would never have supported the arrests and internments of people who failed to be born Canadian in 1940's Canada -- the good old days for people like Mr. Beynon.

You see, what irks people like Mr. Beynon is that people like Mr. Black cannot be counted upon to obey the call to arms, especially when we are at the brink of "impending world wide domination" by "Islamic Radicals".

All people like Mr. Black are concerned about is giving "tirades" on the truth. I obviously think we need more Canadians like Mr. Black. Canadians like Beynon would only serve the fear, paranoia, and racism that created Canada's War Measures Act in 1917.
