Re: Sign Wars, Sept. 26, Mountain News
Perhaps Tyler Banham needs to consider that the residents themselves are removing the signs and not the other candidates. I know I did.
Last week my husband was greeted by Mr. Banham while doing some yard work; they shook hands, had a few words about the Liberal's positioning and he was on his way. He did not ask my husband if he could "count on our support" nor did he ask if a "sign may be placed on our property".
Later that afternoon, we went out for a couple hours only to return to a red Liberal Banham sign posted on our property.
My husband was in shock that they would just do that without our consent. We immediately removed the sign and placed it in our garage.
Mr. Banham, I am not sure what your processes are for placing signs, but after our encounter I can only assume that signs are placed willy nilly about the city in hopes to remain in a visible location.
