Lower the bar on literacy testing

The Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test is too difficult for average students. My child had a psycho-educational assessment. This assessment determined my child was in the average range for my child's age. My child was held back in elementary school, therefore my child is now in the high average range for my child's grade.
My child failed the OSSLT by five marks. I believe the OSSLT is too difficult for an average student.
The OSSLT is an "expectation.” If you set an "expectation" so high an average student is not able to achieve it, then it is too high. My child's school file is scientific proof of this.
Do the right thing. Make the OSSLT achievable for average students.
