The City of Hamilton presents Music in the City, a summer concert series offering free concerts in July and August.

A variety of concerts will be held at various public venues throughout the city. You can relax in the summer sunshine with performances from noon to 2:00 p.m. every Monday to Friday on the Jackson Square Rooftop. Listen to jazz at International Village on Ferguson Ave. and King St. on Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon to 2:00 p.m. Check out the sounds of the 50's and 60's on Thursdays from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Pier 4 Park Enjoy easy listening tunes on Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Gore Park. See performances on Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. while you shop at the Hamilton Farmers' Market. Kick off your weekend with some rock music on the Jackson Square Rooftop on Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. For a detailed performance schedule, visit any City of Hamilton municipal service centre, recreation centre or host venue.
